I forgot that I asked him,
but he remembered.

“Remember last year
when you asked me
why I am always smiling?
Well, I’ve been thinking
about that for months now
and I came up with an answer.
It’s this: ‘I am able to receive
the body and blood of Christ. Amen.’”
