Thought for the Day

“If is an interesting fact that all of us have in our veins the same exact percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears.   We are tied to the ocean.  And when we go back to the sea – whether it is to sail or to watch it – we are going back whence we came.”

John F. Kennedy,
Newport R.I. Speech,
September 14, 1962

PERHAPS

It’s smart to throw in a “perhaps” –
when trying to figure out just what
was going on when it happened.

Perhaps it was the last thing anyone
thought might happen or the last thing
anyone knew was really going on.

Perhaps if someone asked for a little
more time – or someone asked a
different question – then maybe – different.

SNEAK  OF  LIGHT

Insight sometimes seems
to come like a turning on of
a light at 2:45 in the morning –
suddenly – snap – switch –
but on looking back, it might
be  the result of a hurt -
or personal stupidity or
laziness – too many things
not working – and something
new is needed and then the
sneak of light – then INSIGHT.
