NOVEMBER RAIN

It’s raining….
November rain ….
Cold …. But not icy….
The water colored brown
and rust colored and
orange colored leaves
are water colored on
the ground …. but half are
still holding on to their moms:
the trees. It’s November ….
Pain.... Rain .... Remembrance ....
Three weeks to remember
our dead…. and then
celebrate Thanksgiving.

I always found that November is a grieving month . I have known quite a few friends who died in November and especially my dear little daughter , Maureen .

April is the laughter month with earth laughing with the blooming flowers and singing birds .
