SOLID
We need hard metal,
painted black iron
bannisters, railings,
to make our way up
stone steps - once we
hit 70 - just in case we
slip - just in case
there is wind or rain
pelting us - till we get
to the top. Then, O God,
we can lean and trust
in You once again.
