WALKING
TOWARDS THE PODIUM
Walking towards the podium, the pulpit,
the microphone, the stage - what is she,

going to sing? Something I hope that

anger, frustration, goodness, mistakes,
relationships, life in my shoes, slippers,
mocasins, sins, skin, that she knows
