PICKING CUTS
Why do I pick my cuts?
Why do I edge my finger nails
under my scabs - the hard
blood healing of my cuts?
Why do I do this every time -
down through the years, all
my life - not allowing healing -
the healing of my cuts to happen?
Why as priest, have I found out
people do this on the skin of their
soul - much worse, much more?
