TATTOOS
Ink on skin…. When our ballpoint pen
leaks, we try to
wash the stain away.
Tattoos - ink on skin…. Why would
anyone want to do that deliberately?
Yet school kids write ballpoint pen
messages on their skin all the time.
Tattoos - mechanically inked into skin,
flowers, crosses, knives and names....
flowers, crosses, knives and names....
They remain - like forever - so too hurts,
words, memories inked into our forever.
