THE  OTHER  SHORE

 

If you read the Gospels,
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John,
it seems that Jesus is always
wanting to get to the other shore.
 
Was it a light in the distance?
Was it other side of a dark night?
Was it the morning after death?
Was it Easter after Good Friday?
 
We tell people not to get stuck
in the past. We know that people
need to know there is a future.
Hope is a green light on a far shore.
 
Who likes it when we keep on hitting
red lights? We want the vaccine and
we want it now?  We want the nurse
to open the door and say, “The doctor ….”
