ALL OF US IN THIS CHURCH
All of us in this church are beggars:
begging for bread – the best bread possible;
begging for wine – the best wine possible;
begging for water – to wash away our regrets;
begging for words – that will give us insights;
begging for others – that we understand each other;
begging for leaders – who will make us leaders;
begging for beggars – all of us in this room.
