LAST NOTE
Sometimes the last note
from the piano player lingers
and sometimes it doesn’t last.
Just wondering what my last
note will say – my last song
will sound like – then be gone.
Love lasts – but so too hurt ….
I just hope my last note – my
last words will sound like love.
