THE FIRST MOMENT IN PRAYER

In the deep night

I kneel and ask,

“Who are You, God”

and You answer every time,

“And who are you?”

In the deep night

is that where prayer begins?

Is that the first moment in prayer

every time? Me and You?

Who are we?
