BRAKES
One more act of faith ….
One more sign of trust ….
that our car brakes will
work for us when we
need them to work for us -
to stop our car when we
need them to stop our car.
A spouse at our elbow -
a brake who stops us
from saying the wrong
thing at the wrong time.
We didn’t marry each other
for this reason - but now we
know this was one smart move.
