MERRY  GO  ROUND

Looking back, I’ve never seen an
unhappy face on a merry-go-round.

Yet, so much of life is repeated
sounds, words, motions, illusions,
in and out of cars, the opening and
closing of doors and jars and boxes.

Looking back I’ve seen unhappy
faces in churches and on their jobs.

Maybe seeing life as a merry-go-round
might be a metaphor for having to do
life  - listening to the music, enjoying
life and seeing the circle of life together.
