CHANGE

Expect change.

If you don’t you might

miss it when it comes.

But then again,

expect repeat performances

and déjà vu.

After every major mistake,

expect promises from the culprit,

“I’ll change. I promise you:
there won’t be a next time.”

But then again,

expect repeat performances

and déjà vu.

Expect the other to change
just when you have given up -
on them not to change. 

But then again,

expect repeat performances

and déjà vu.

Expect change.
