LIE FREE
He was lie free….
He could only say
what he knew as true.
When asked, “Why?”
“Why can’t you tell a lie?”
He would remain quiet.
He wouldn’t tell.
But about a dozen years
after both his parents died,
he finally told their story.
“I saw him lie to her and
I heard her lie to him -
and I said, “I’ll never do that
to anyone. It hurts too much.”
