CRACKS
When watching walls
and beams - we
sometimes
spot cracks. The weight
of structure - or the change
of weather - can change
the face of what we’re looking at.
So too the skin and face
of self - in the mirror - we can
spot cracks and wrinkles -
smiles that slipped because
of the weight of mistakes we can’t
shake - sliding out - wearing us out.
