GENEOLOGY
The family tree,
so many out flying
branches - up close,
so different from other branches.
Are we called to bear fruit?
Are we called to branch out?
How will we all end up?
Fire wood, part of a house,
a chair, a table, a bed,
or do we still remain
outside - at a distance
from each other - evergreen,
or leafless winter tree….
Hopefully we never forget
the Spring, the Summer
and the Fall - and not get
lost in our emptiness.
