EASTER IN THE 

SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE 

How do they do Easter in the

Southern Hemisphere? How

do they do Christmas for that

matter as well?  Do all the

images and metaphors come

across as strange? Easter is

Spring and budding trees and

flowers - and the return of the

birds on the wings. Winter is

over - so how do they do Easter

in the Southern Hemisphere?

How does resurrection from

the dead look when trees are
losing their leaves? How does 
God show up as a baby in the
summer time? Does everyone 
down there look up at the night 
sky stars and wonder and 
ponder the Southern Cross?
