EXCOMMUNICATION
He said he didn’t believe in communion
or excommunication for that matter and
so many other things. He added, “I used
to be a Catholic, but I got over all that
stuff a long, long, long time ago.”
At all this I remained silent - knowing
that someday his roots would reappear
and he’d realize we’re all under the tree
of the cross and we’re all called to the
same table to be in communion with all.
