NIGHT PRAYER

Lord of long days,
wrong days and right days,
good days and bad days;
Lord of tomorrow, today
and let me throw in yesterday
as well. I pause now
at the end of this day to say,
“Thanks!”, “Sorry!”
and "I need a good sleep
to do another one of these
tomorrow." Enough! Enough!
At the end of the day
I know I was never enough
but that’s your job, O Lord,
that's Your job, O Lord.
Be our Eternal Enough;
be our Eternal Enough.
Amen. Good Night.
