MARRIED COUPLE’S PRAYER

Lord, like most couples
we need more time, more laughter,
more little talk, more big talk,
better arguing, better love,
less spending, less worry,
but in the meantime
in the rush and crush of time,
help us to support each other
in the better and the worse,
the richer and the poorer,
till death do us part. Amen.
