DETECTIVES
ALL
We’re all Watson or Holmes,
Agatha Christie or Nancy Drew
and we’re trying to figure out
the daily crimes and sins
of those around us.
We then play the part
of judge and jury. We
then publish and proclaim
others’ crimes – without
taking the time for our own.
Maybe that’s exactly what
we’re doing. Exactly
or maybe.

LOOKED FOR?
What a nice feeling to know -
just know, you’re sure of – that
you were looked for – wanted –
and the other or others let you
know that when you show up.
Got that? Now let those you
wait for – know you are
looking for and waiting for them.
Nice doing that? So do that.
Try that….

LURKING
It’s a thing to do
every once in a while:
to notice what’s lurking
in the bushes outside our mind.
It could be fears, loses, problems.
To make them more specific
is the smarter thing to do –
like my brother dying or
a niece’s marriage getting shaky –
or that new boss at work.
Could be anxieties or fears.
Fears I can name them;
Anxieties are crawling ants
that I can’t really name yet.
Keeping calm and talking
to someone seem to be
two solutions or easers
to put into practice -
like putting lights on
the outside of our house.
What’s hiding in those bushes?
