TWO  TYPES  OF  PEOPLE

There are two types of people:
those who tire us out
and those who restore us.

Which leads us to the obvious questions:
“What tires us out?
Why do some people, drain us?”

Which leads us to the obvious answer:
“The people who restore us,
don’t try to control us.”

Thought for today:

But as a wise man once said, just because we are done with the past doesn’t mean the past is done with us.”

Theory," September 29, 2018.

Things I Drank to Forget.”

DON’T  KNOW  WHAT
TO  SAY?

Don’t know what to say?
Say, “Thank you.”

Don’t know what to say?
Say, “Hope you’re okay,  today?”

Don’t know what to say?
Say, “You’re the best.”

Don’t know what to say?
Say, “You're a blessing.”

EVENING SONG

I  stand  here at the edge of the universe
as  darkness  begins to crowd me out.
I put my coat under my head for a pillow.
I put my hands together to pray to you.

Lord, give me a place  to sleep.
I am tired from too many steps.
I have been walking and hiding in
too many  corners of this foreign land.

Lord, I need a good night’s sleep.
Lord, send me a Holy Angel.
Lord, give me sweet dreams.
Lord, give all a deep sleep tonight.

Thou shalt not add an 11th commandment.”
