Thought for today:

But as a wise man once said, just because we are done with the past doesn’t mean the past is done with us.”

in a New York Times article,
“Kavanaugh and the Blackout
Theory," September 29, 2018.

of the best-selling memoir
Blackout: Remembering the
Things I Drank to Forget.”

DON’T  KNOW  WHAT
TO  SAY?

Don’t know what to say?
Say, “Thank you.”

Don’t know what to say?
Say, “Hope you’re okay,  today?”

Don’t know what to say?
Say, “You’re the best.”

Don’t know what to say?
Say, “You're a blessing.”

EVENING SONG

I  stand  here at the edge of the universe
as  darkness  begins to crowd me out.
I put my coat under my head for a pillow.
I put my hands together to pray to you.

Lord, give me a place  to sleep.
I am tired from too many steps.
I have been walking and hiding in
too many  corners of this foreign land.

Lord, I need a good night’s sleep.
Lord, send me a Holy Angel.
Lord, give me sweet dreams.
Lord, give all a deep sleep tonight.

MORNING  SONG

“Glory to God in the highest!”
or “Give God the Glory.”

Great words. Great morning prayer.
Great words or song to begin the day.

In the shower…. On our knees ….
Or simply getting out of our bed.

“Glory to God in the highest!”
or “Give God the Glory.”
