TWO BLACK PLASTIC
GARBAGE BAGS
Two ripped - black plastic garbage bags -
with their guts spilth out onto the sidewalk,
as well as the street, lay there torn open
by the teeth and paws of a hungry alley dog.
I figured this happened some time last night.
Well, to say the least that’s how both of them
felt this
morning - as they left their
house
silently and in separate cars.
I suppose the trash collectors will scoop up
the contents of the two bags - but will these
two ever take the time to sort out how they
got to be mean alley dogs in the night?
