The clink of a spoon 

placed on a plate …. 

The sound of silver 

on porcelain …. 

Sorting out words - 

slices of mind thoughts -   
moments together - 

talking and listening 

to each other with 

a cup of tea or coffee ….
Styrofoam cups with plastic 

stirrers - with ego on our lips - 

just doesn’t do it.
