I’LL ANSWER
THAT QUESTION
Sometimes it’s bugs
and bothers us
when we’re watching
the evening news.
We’re hearing the story of a couple
sifting and sorting through
the rubble
of their burnt out
home, picking up
mementos, photos,
keepsakes then
we see a microphone stuck in
their face,
“How do you feel?” Then sometimes
there’s a
surprise reply: A person says,
"Well I guess we just
got to start all over
again .... just start all over again.” And then
the news jumps to a plane
crash, 197 killed -
and someone with a microphone heads for
their relatives waiting for them at the airport.
