TALK  TO  ME 

A son wouldn’t talk

to his father,

no matter what.

I said to him,

“Talk to your father,

no matter what.”

Ten years later

I met the two of them and

the son said to me, “Thank you.”

But I had forgotten 

what that matter

was all about. Did they?
