THE NEXT MORNING
We woke up the next morning -
hearing on the radio that
Bobby Kennedy had been shot
and killed the night before ….
Martin Luther King had been
shot a few months earlier -
That’s two - two too many.
1968 was a bad year for USA.
Now it’s kids in classrooms and
people at parties and concerts.
As Judy Collins and Joan Baez
sang, “When will we ever learn?”
