GLIMPSES
Sometimes we only get glimpses
of another - quick glances - and
we jump to conclusions on just
who the other is -
then in time
our assumptions prove wrong -
making divorces and break ups
the real conclusion. Knowing -
really getting to know each other -
takes time, many conversations,
many questions and often we
not only don’t know the other
but we don’t even know ourselves.
