NOTWITHSTANDING
Interesting word, “notwithstanding”….
Would whoever came up with that word,
please stand up and tell us what it means?
Different dictionaries
report that it goes
back to the 14th and 15th century
and means
“however” - “inspite of” - “nevertheless.”
Notwithstanding understanding this word,
people without any standing or credentials
have stood up and screamed out the truth.
