RAIN
It hadn’t rained for a while,
in fact a few weeks now.
So when it finally rained,
rain was very much appreciated.
All those complaints about too
much rain last April had been
forgotten - but the rain,
it remembered. Complaints
linger. Complaints sink in.
Rain smiled - knowing
absence and holding back
and silence always work.
They bring appreciation
and gratitude every time.
