COLD  MORNING

Cold and crisp.

needing a coat.

It’s cold outside

and

it’s the first day of summer.

This weather, God,

is supposed to be

more organized –

more easy to predict.

This cold spell is a “How come?”

and I have a lot of them lately.

How come?

WHICH?

Which would you want?

To find or you’re still looking?

To be on the journey or

to have reached your destination?

Which would you want?

To love or be loved?

To give or to get?

Which would you want?

To speak or to listen?

To have or to want?

Which would you want?

To know or to ask?

To tell or to be told?

Which would you want?

To ask the question

or to give an answer?

Which would you want?
