THE   OTHER  SIDE

OF  THE  WINDOW

For years she loved to grab a pillow
and just sit there looking out the window.

She would watch people coming down
the street – heading home – after work.

She let her imagination tell the story
of each person’s day – their mysteries.

Till finally she sat back – grabbed her
notepad and write the novel of her life.

Thought for the Day

“It is better to be hated for what you are than loved for what you are not.”

THERE’S  MORE

Life is the add on’s – the more ….

Gravy, pepper, salt, ketchup, mustard:
we have to add on the add on’s to make
what we’re making tasty, more delicious.

Of course there’s more – a lot more.

MY  ME

See me, you see my presence,
my face, my eyes, my edges,
but not my essence. Not yet ….
That takes time – lots of time.
Heck, at 81,  I don’t even  know
my me yet, but I have some glimpses,
that is - if you’re interested.
How about you? I see you.
But who are you?

Thought for the Day

“I make all my decisions on intuition.  I throw a spear into the darkness.  That is  intuition..  Then I must send an army into the darkness to find the spear.  That is intellect.”

Ingmar  Bergman

IT  TAKES  TIME

Wood, marble, paper,
steel, leather, stone,
each with a different feel,
each with a different touch,
so too the people on my street,
so too the meanings we give to each other,
yet in certain ways we are all so different,
so it’s good to take the time to be with each other.
