              FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

Apples, oranges, peaches, pears, plums,

melons, grapes, bananas, and hundreds

and hundreds and hundreds of tangerines ….

Potatoes, lettuce and tomatoes,

beans, peas,  cucumbers and hundreds

and hundreds and hundreds ears of corn ….

I can’t paint canvas paintings of fruits

and vegetables – but I can picture plates

filled with delicious slices of both ….

I can't eat paintings ,

but I can bite into bananas, tangerines

and savor corn on the cob....

TAKE GOOD CARE

OF MY DARLING DAUGHTER

Father-Daughter relationships

are so, so different than mother-son

or mother-daughter or father-son

relationships– in fact, all 4 are an

experience to take a good look at.

To walk down the aisle at a daughter’s

wedding,  it’s a gift every father

cherishes for the rest of his life.

Warning to son-in-laws: cherish

my daughter more than I do! Take

good care of my darling daughter.

IT  RAINED

It rained and too many people

complained. Some people don’t

take the time to think about

what they are saying.

Let it rain. Let it rain. Let it rain.

Or let the sun or shadows touch

my back porch and I love looking

at the sun setting in the west.

Maybe it will rain tomorrow.

Maybe the sun will shine.

Or maybe it will do both.

Let it be. Let it be. Let it be.
