SOUNDS

I see sounds.

A yawn …. The movement
of a chair whenever she speaks ….

A stretch.  He’s taken out his car keys....

Looking at his watch.  He definitely
wants out of here – maybe to get home ….

Standing up…. Looking at his coat ….
Going to the bathroom …. Looking at me ….

Thought for the Day

That's the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet.”

HE  BARKS

I heard a wife complaining
about her husband: “He barks!”

“Barks?”

“Yes! He shouts at me and
he snaps at the kids – in fact anyone
who doesn’t do what he wants.”

Just then I saw him petting their dog.

 Thought for the Day

Books are mirrors: you only see in them what you already have inside you.”

A  PRIEST?

Great question: ask people
their take on Catholic priests.

I’m a priest. I have my take.
What’s your’s? People have met priests.

You might get a negative response.
But you could also get a great take.

Someone might tell you about a priest
who made a big difference in their life.

You never know till you ask.
You might even call and say, “Thank you!”

You might even take  the time
to think about “How you did  life so far?”

You might even decide to become
a priest yourself. Hey you never know.

A  GLASS OF WATER

It’s great when it’s cold.
It’s wonderful  when I’m thirsty.
It’s a blessing when the other says, “Thank you!”
It’s neat when it evokes “Perfect!” sounds.
It’s been around since the beginning.
It’s a free gift 7 times a day.
It shows God’s sheer imagination.
