Moms are drawing 
10,000 chalk  figures
on the brains of their kids
all through their growing up years:
combing their hair,
dishing out cookies and chocolate,
reading to them,
showing them off to the world.

CAUTION

 
I saw a sign

that said, “Caution!” 

But I didn’t stop
to see what I should

be cautious about. 

That's the regular me.
 

Then fear arrived.
This time I stopped
to see where I was.

This time I noticed

caution arrived.
