HI
The handshake
has been around
for at least
some 100,000 years,
so,  “Hi!”

SUGAR  AND  SALT

Sort of invisible
especially when I
fall to the floor -
but when I’m on your fries
or in your coffee -
you'll  know I’m here.
Well, then, how do you want me?
Sweet or salty?

Thought for today:

“Today the ringing of the telephone takes precedence over  everything. It reaches a point of terrorism, particularly at dinnertime.

Notice this was
before big time
cell phone time.

LISTENING  TO  EACH  OTHER

We’re not the only one on the road.

Now that’s a line we often forget.

And these other people on the road
are not as good a driver as I am.

Next, there’s the question of perception.

We think the other person is too fast
or too slow, depending on the person
in our seat and whether we’re in a hurry.

Then there are the accidents. We hit the
other person's car or cow or fence.

Then there’s the conversation - often
made in the heat of battle. Listen to
how many times we say “listen” when
we’re not listening to each other.
