TROUBLES

We've got troubles ….
Don’t we all  …?
And not just in River City.

Drink, drugs,  and dumb ….
The river rises ….
The forest burns ….

Families not talking to each other ….
Kids not caring a care for aging parents ….
Parents neglecting their kids ….

The Golden Rule has been entombed ….
Time got stuck between Good Friday and Easter.
And the song is, “When will we ever learn?”

Thought for today:

“If  you wait  for  inspiration you’ll be standing on the corner after the parade is a mile down  the street.”

POLYGRAPH

The human body is a polygraph:
the tapping fingers, the scratching
of the throat with the long of one’s
hand, the eyes looking away,
the slow soft gulp of one’s voice
which is screaming a long silent,
“Uh oh!, I got to get our of here!”
Yes it's a polygraph, a lie detector,
no not for others to see, but for
my very being to tell me, “I'm scared,
very scared, very scared ….”

FALLING

Falling:
don't we all?

Rising:

We'll find out ....

Surprising:

Don't we all?

Thought  for  today:
