When asked my take
on taking down statues,
I find myself saying,
"It's easier to take down statues
than to take down from a pedestal,
a mind set in stone or bronze."

Andrew Jackson Costello
For the sake of transparency I was named after two Andrews: Saint Andrew Avellino and Andrew Jackson. I'm sure folks can find faults with both - especially Andrew Jackson.
St. Andrew Avellino
Andrew Jackson statue
in Lafayette Park,
Washington, D.C.
within site of the White House.
It is the earliest bronze statue
in the United States
and the first one in the world
of a horse on just two legs.
