I needed that reminder! As we "shelter in place" with two of our grandchildren and their parents, one of them, age 10, says, "I know!" to everything! without listening to what we are saying.....And then tells his sister that Nann and Pappy "talk too much" - translation: "when I don't want to hear it...." - as he is about to launch a "missile" across the room, or play too roughly with his little sister and we tell him he is stronger than he thinks, and it hurts.....!"
Most of the time, they are fun to have around, but sometimes.....!
