SOMETIMES

Sometimes it’s just right

to have an ice cream cone -

or to just find a quiet corner

and read a smart article in

a magazine - to think about

its contents - to take a walk

around the block - to visit

or call an old aunt or uncle

and let them do all the talking

and keep listening to their

voice and let their joy

come through your ear to

your heart and soul. Amen.
