February
brief and cold,

tilting slowly towards

the light ...

moving into Lent,
ashes once again.

The slow change of seasons

inside and out,

winter wanting spring,

death wanting resurrection ....

Lord, I’m changing,

but slowly,

slowly with the seasons,

February,

brief and cold,

tilting slowly towards

the Light ....
