As a pediatric nurse , who practiced at University of Md hospital in the late 50's early 60s, I cared for many Down syndrome babies and children .My memory of them was nothing but loving and lovable . I was blessed to have taken care of them .Unfortunately , in today's world we see very few Down children . Pre natal testing is to blame .God bless the families who welcome these beautiful children .
